Love is a Mix Tape

I have always wanted to be gifted a mix tape.

The closest i came was an iPod playlist of music i really didn't like, which defeats the purpose because mix tapes are suppose to contain the music that the person you are giving them to likes.

I have given mix CD's before to people i like and i remember when i was younger taping songs off the radio for people - usually song cut in half by DJ's adding their two cents!

If i was to receive a mix tape i would want to have the following songs on it.

1. Just The Way You Are - Billy Joel

2.Taper Jean Girl - KOL

3. One Life Stand- Hot Chip

4.You've got the love - Florence & The Machine

5.The Nowhere Man - The Veils

6.Daniel - Bat for Lashes

7.Last Nite - The Strokes

8.Scientist - Coldplay

9. One More Chance - Bloc Party

10. I Still Remember - Bloc Party

11. Crazy Love - Van Morrison

12.First Day of my Life - Bright Eyes

13.Rock and Roll Queen - The Subways

14. Old Friends, New Lovers - The Thrills

The list could go on.....and each time I think of one i realise i don't have them on my new iPod -so i download the album off iTunes...so it's getting expensive.

And relooking at my list ...none of them go together well.

I guess i too would make myself a crap mix tape.

oh well that's what Genius on iTunes was designed for!
