Last year = recession BBQ at bosses house followed by consuming 4 bottles of Champagne.

This year = Lunch on Waiheke Island in the sun at a vineyard = All Class???

A Softer World

Some of these are relevant.

Most of them are not.

But why?

I don't exactly know which element of my life is causing this, but i really want to throw a good old fashioned tantrum.

I want to kick and curse at people.

I want to scream at the top of lungs.

And cry until it is all solved.

Fort Life

Somedays when nothing is going right and I am feeling sick all I want to do is build a fort and climb inside and block the outside world.

I need one today.

Oh and a lemon and honey drink.

Not just a Doodle

Imagine being able to draw like this, with only the aid of a few coloured pens.

I am always getting told off at meetings from my boss for doodling over everything.

I don't think that would be the case if I was this talented!

Gin & Tonic

I can't sing but if i could I would hope I would have a voice like Gin Wigmore.

I brought her EP last year and made anyone that came in contact with me listen to it....so I was eagerly awaiting her debut CD like a little geek.

It did not disappoint.

Although I'm pretty sure everyone in the office is rather sick of me playing it on repeat!

I even - like a true goober fan- went to her album launch two weeks ago and got to see her perform- she is as good live. I stood next to her mum- which I giggled about!

But I think everyone should give the album a listen.

And i have even entered her competition to win a signed Ukulele....but mainly because how cool would a ukulele be???

Laneways + Florence

Laneways is coming to NZ which is mega exciting and even more exciting is the fact that Florence & the Machine will be playing.

She is my current girl crush.

She does an amazing cover of 'You Got The Love'.

I am not sure about the whole NZ Laneways thing though.

Laneways began life in Melbourne in Calendonian Lane, the same lane as an uber cool bar, St Jerome's - that Lily Allen once played in pre-fame days. St Jeromes Bar is now unfortunately R.I.P. But the St Jerome's Laneway Festival lives on and now right here in NZ.

I'm not sure Britomart or New Zealand is cool or hip enough to have this festival. Maybe I will save my pennies and head to Melbourne to witness the Festival how it is suppose to be!

I don't know what it is that makes them so attractive.





The white frame and warped colours capture moments that look more perfect than life.

They are surreal.

It might be that it feeds into my need for instant gratification.

I am fascinated.

Robbers & Thieves
